We want to form positive connections with all of our students and families. Although academic learning and growth are our main focus, we include care of their social and emotional self as well.

Our team will work diligently to provide all students with the opportunity to learn and grow.  We want each student to feel valued based on their abilities and ideas.  We create high expectations and provide pathways to achieve.

Our Philosophy

Mandeville Junior High School’s philosophy is based on the belief that cooperation is essential among students, faculty, administration, parents, and community.  Each student is entitled to a safe and orderly learning atmosphere, both physical and emotional.  The school community and the home must share responsibility in providing an environment for educational growth.  By following the policies, rules and regulations set forth by the St. Tammany Parish School Board and by MJH, all students will have the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential.

We endeavor to create an atmosphere in which every child can enjoy success and to present the opportunity for each individual to acquire a feeling of self-worth.  We strive diligently for mutual respect and understanding among faculty, students, and parents so that our primary goal, educating all students, can be met.
